Biography

Dr. Amit Verma did his M.Sc Physics (1999) from C.C.S. University Meerut and M.Tech in Laser Sciences (2002) from Devi Ahilya University and Raja Ramana Center for Advanced Technology (Unit of DAE) Indore with prestigious GATE fellowship. After completing M.Tech, he joined Jaypee Education System in 2004 as a faculty and worked at JUET Guna for two years. Then he shifted to JIIT, Noida in the year 2006 as a faculty and completed his Doctorate degree in the field of Quantum optics from JIIT, Noida in 2010. Currently he has 14 years of teaching and research experience, more than 25 research papers, guided one PhD and conducting 3 elective courses on Lasers, Quantum Information technology, Integrated Optics besides 2 basic Engineering Physics courses. His areas of research interests are theoretical study of nonclassical phenomena of light, quantum information processing and Laser sciences.
