Biography

Dr Sudip Kumar Haldar joined JIIT, Noida as an Assistant Professor (Grade II) in June 2023. Prior to joining JIIT he has worked as an Assistant Professor in SRM University Delhi-NCR and as a postdoctoral fellow in University of Haifa, Israel (jointly with Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel) and in Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. He obtained his PhD in theoretical physics in 2015 from University of Calcutta. His present research interest is quantum many-body systems and its application in quantum information & computation (QIC).

Professional Achievement:

  • Institute postdoctoral fellow from University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel (2016-2019)
  • BK21 Postdoctoral fellowship from Ministry of Education, South Korea under the Brain Korea program at Seoul National University. (2016)
  • Best oral presentation award by the Optical Society (OSA) at University of Hyderabad (2012).
  • Life Membership of Indian Society of Atomic & Molecular Physics (ISAMP) (2012).
